So I've decided to Join the Circus
YES! It came to me in a flash of pure brilliance! I've been in medical school for two months now, written two exams and I was sitting here studying for Embryology on this very unfridayish Friday night when it hit me that I may have missed my true calling...
Am I really about to sign my life away to the books for the next eight odd years, to give up sleep for the next forty? When I could be travelling the world, jumping through flaming hoops on the backs of tigers and sailing through the air on a trapeze (instant mind link -> trapezius) Damn it all, maybe it is too late

You'll learn to love the lack of sleep, the inane memorisation, and all the ugly people that surround you.
In effect, it is a circus.
And really, in the end, you'll have tonnes of new choices, ones that may involve sleep too!
thanks, I actually am enjoying it. Today I went around with a neurologist at the Toronto Western and sat in on his stroke clinic and did rounds with the residents. It was great, neurology is simply delightful!
Although from what I saw from the doctor and the residents, not only will I have to learn to love the lack of sleep but also the 15min lunch breaks ;)
Maybe we should just give in to our intrinsic freakish nature and be the tightrope/trapeze twins? If you feel the call of the wild, better roll with the lions and tigers and bears, ya know??
Oh yeah Damon!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I'll fear you!
are tickets for this circus available? where can I find your schedule, and will you be touring central canada? :)
Tickets!? You come to Toronto, and you can BE in the circus! Any chance you have experience holding loops of flaming fire?
