Blind Contourism- Sharmalized

This is a series of drawings Anita and I did a few nights ago. We tried to do them without looking at the paper, just at our subjects. And some of them we tried to keep the line continuous throughout. It was great fun! This is one that Anita did of me. Posted by Picasa

And the Piece That Started it Off

This is James Culleton's blind contourism drawing of the Three Sisters at bluegrass night. Anita and I were looking at it the other night and decided to try for ourselves.

Can you tell who's who? (Assuming someone other than James, Lauren or Anita (who already know the answer) looks at my Blog) Posted by Picasa

A Blog?

So I just started this blog. Why? I'm not entirely sure. It seemed like blogs were just popping up all over the place. A good way to keep in touch? Surely... A place to post pictures? Thoughts? Art? Truth is, I'm not really sure yet, but I'm hoping it will somehow inspire me to start producing things. Yes, "things". I'm not sure what, but there will be "things".

Feeding the Fishes

This is from August when Jon and I took a camping trip to Bon Echo. The fish seemed to like our bread. First the smallest ones would come, then the medium sized fish would be attracted, and then when there was enough of a commotion going on, the really big fish would move in from the deeper waters. Oh would that I were there now! Posted by Picasa
